200-YARD MEDLEY RELAY 1ST team • Spencer Sherard, junior; Brad Crist, senior; Brogan Runion, senior; and Levi Mische, senior Set a state record, finishing in 1 minute, 35.89 seconds to lead off SM East’s fourth consecutive state championship run.
100 BUTTERFLY - 1ST team • Brogan Runion, Shawnee Mission East, senior: A key to the Lancers’ state title streak, Runion won the 100 butterfly in 51.00 seconds. He also won a Sunflower League championship in the event.
100 FREESTYLE 1 ST team • Levi Mische, Shawnee Mission East, senior: Mische went out on top by winning state titles in the 50 freestyle in 21.30 seconds, and in the 100 freestyle, which he finished in 46.55 seconds.
200 FREESTYLE RELAY 1 ST team • Levi Mische, senior; Jack Stalder, senior; Brogan Runion, senior; and Brad Crist, senior): The Lancers showed their relay prowess again, winning the state title in a time of 1:27.51.
100 BREAST STROKE 1 St team • Brad Crist, Shawnee Mission East, senior: Crist had come close in seasons past before finishing the job this year. He claimed his first individual state title with a time of 58.37, while playing a key role in the Lancers’ fourth consecutive team championship. He also won the Sunflower League championship in the event
